About This Project
- Russell Brand, Matt Morgan and Mr Gee teamed up to produce the twice-weekly Russell Brand Podcast, a content-as-marketing tool for Audioboom.
- The podcast was supported by a full integrated marketing campaign, including a national radio campaign, a national PR campaign, and full digital marketing: PPC, display, audio pre-roll, paid Twitter, Facebook and YouTube adverts, and an influencer and outreach campaign.
- Additionally, Audioboom syndicated The Russell Brand Podcast content to Radio X (Global) in the UK and Triple M (SCA) in Australia to produce full length standalone radio shows with further Audioboom brand promotion.
- Exact listening figures are confidential, but each episode gained over hundreds of thousands of listens, and the total number of listens to the podcast on the Audioboom platform and app reached seven figures.
